A Korean American multi-media artist, who has been going through an identity crisis, is taking the opportunity to further explore her culture through the lens of the popular concept of Newtro : a blending of new and old. On her journey she explores this concept through the eyes of fellow Korean Americans who are taking pieces of their culture and turning it into something completely new.

Angela Koh
Angela Koh is a Korean-Kiwi filmmaker, residing in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She has previously worked at Fox Sports West and Blackbelt TV network. She grew up bouncing between New Zealand and Korea without a true identity. Because of this, she has a special interest in exploring second-generation immigrants and how they co-exist with their cultural traditions whilst also being part of a modern and diverse society. She has a great passion for true events and documentaries.
